National Price of Goods Division
Introduction The National Price of Goods Division (NPGD) was previously known as the Secretariat of the National Commodity Price Council. NPGD is responsible for implementing one (1) main function which is the Price Monitoring Program. Objective Collect, monitor, analyze and report retail price movements for 480 items to help the Government formulate policies, strategies and actions in stabilizing the prices of items through the Ministry's price database. The display of prices for essential goods, which are collected daily, will be uploaded to the PriceCatcher Application before 12:00 PM, including Saturdays and Sundays, except for public holidays.
Feedback will be provided for price data requests within seven (7) working days from the date the request is received.
